How do positive hormones or a good hormone work with the body?

Positive hormones are those that have a positive impact on the body and mind. The following are some positive hormones and their actions in the body.

Serotonin: Habits for a peaceful and calm mind:

This hormone helps in regulating good mood and pleasure, and also promotes sleep and appetite.

Oxytocin: Habits for a peaceful and calm mind:

This hormone is called the love hormone; it promotes good relations and helps in trust building and social building.

Endorphins: Habits for a peaceful and calm mind:

This hormone helps in mind and body relaxation by relieving pain and aches in the body.

Dopamine:

This hormone helps in reward, pleasure, and motivation

All these hormones are good for the body and mind, and these hormones are released by the body in a good mood and a favorable environment. Moreover, these happy hormones are released by laughter, sunlight exposure, and exercise.

So people who are engaged in positive activities can have these happy hormones in their bodies, which collectively help them have a peaceful and relaxed mind.

Be organized:

In this busy time, people get stressed out by multiple things to do in a day. However, organized and punctual people always do their work on time. This habit helps them in managing and prioritizing their work with a to-do list.

What is a ‘to-do list’?

A to-do list is a list containing work and tasks to do. This list also helps in prioritizing the most important and least important tasks. In this way, people become less stressed out and complete their work on time and in an organized way.

Be friendly: Habits for a peaceful and calm mind:

Be friendly in your nature, but there should be limits. People who are friendly in nature are usually extroverted. Moreover, people with such a personality share their thoughts and knowledge and also take help from others easily.

Introverted people suffer more; they always try to hide their feelings and stress.

What happens when somebody shares his stress?

In mental health, it is always suggested that you share your stress and tensions. By sharing stress with a close friend or trusted one, stress is relieved in the following ways:

 Feel relaxed

 Get more problem-solving ideas

Transferring stress by sharing with others

 Building trust and good relations

Feeling relaxed and secure when someone listens to you

Harmful effects of hiding stress:

Stress has a very harmful effect on mental as well as physical health. If somebody is under stress and hiding or limiting himself, the effects of stress become more severe. Moreover, this kind of behavior or attitude is characteristic of an introvert personality. In the following ways, introverted people suffer.

   Release of negative hormones

 Stress level doubles

Lack of emotional attachments to others

   Lack of trust in others

   poor friendship bonds

   Always keep themselves isolated

   Poor stress management techniques

Suffer more physical and emotional distress

   Low mood

   Feel more insecure

 Always think negatively

Short-tempered

However, such behavior is harmful to people under stress. They always feel overburdened and get irritated over minor issues.

Be positive, optimistic, and honest:

For a relaxed and peaceful mind, it is necessary to be positive, optimistic, and honest. The following are the benefits of being positive-minded

Optimistic people have beneficial ideas

Think of their well-being as well as others

Positive behavior helps in releasing positive hormones

Have good friendships/relations

People with positive thinking are not harmful to others

Share their thoughts and knowledge

Help others in difficult situations

They are very good at stress management.

Trust in team building rather than individual work

Always keep themselves and others happy

So, a person with all the above-mentioned qualities will always feel happy, peaceful, and have a relaxed mind.

Always help others and be kind: Habits for a peaceful and calm mind:

Helping others is a good habit. One should be helping others in difficult situations. Medically, it’s also proven that if a person helps others, he or she feels inner peace and happiness. In this situation, the body releases some happy hormones in the brain, which further have a positive impact on the body. So, by helping others, your mind and body will feel calm and relaxed.

Do not indulge in others’ problems:

Most people stress themselves by indulging in others’ problems. Try to keep yourselves away from others’ personal matters. Yes, if you could personally help the person in a difficult situation, you should get involved, but if you cannot do anything for the person, then do not interfere, as this could disturb your own health.

Be assertive: Habits for a peaceful and calm mind:

Assertive people always keep themselves from stress and tensions by simply saying no to people who are trying to burden them. They are well aware of their own abilities and responsibilities. Also, they should keep themselves alert that people should not misuse them for their own benefit. Being assertive means being able to answer anybody,

What are the benefits of being assertive?

Being assertive has so many benefits, as follows:

·        Time saving: Being assertive is time-saving by answering and acting on the spot. Assertive people do not delay things,  which keeps their time safe

·        Do not take on others’ stress of workload

Assertiveness is a nice defense mechanism; assertive people do not allow others to play with their emotions and other personal issues.

·        Assertive people always keep a person open-minded

Good time management:

In this busy world, time management is a critical component. People with poor time management habits always stress themselves out with multiple tasks at a time. So, by best time management, one can do their tasks on time and feel relaxed and calm-minded.

Give time to yourself:

For a peaceful mind, it is necessary to give proper time to yourself. People who indulge themselves in activities are always in worry and mental fog. This is because of the multiple ideas or tasks, and not giving proper resting time to themselves.

So, give proper time to yourself by following these ways:

Must take short breaks from your work if there  is too much to do

 Do some rest

Spend time with a close friend

Have some mind-relaxing exercises, such as a deep breathing exercise

 Go for a walk alone

Listen to your favorite music. Isolate yourself from noise, as it increases your mental exhaustion.

 Prepare your favorite food

Take a nap after a hectic job

Hence, it is important for a relaxed and peaceful mind to be positive, be optimistic, be helpful, be assertive, be an extrovert, and have good time management techniques. By doing these, one will have a peaceful and relaxed mind.
