Thoughts and behaviors associated with stress vary from person to person.it depends upon the coping mechanism of the person. Stress is an organism’s response to a stressor; it’s a physical, psychological, or biological response. On the basis of the response, some signs and symptoms appeared. These symptoms are expressed in the following ways and actions.

Getting into arguments and fights:

A person who is under stress or anxiety cannot tolerate any other person’s opinion or ideas; he thinks every small word is a negative response from another person. This results in an argument and even ends up in physical violence or a fight.

What physical symptoms does a person exhibit during a fight as a result of stress?

  • High blood pressure
  • Loss of control over thoughts and ideas
  • Involuntary body movements
  • Tremors
  • Increase heart rate
  • Increase breathing
  • aggressiveness

What could be the negative consequences of such an event?

As a result of such a fight due to stress, a person may have the following negative impacts:.

  • May result in a physical injury
  • Break relationships easily
  • Uncontrolled blood pressure may result in a heart attack or other damage, such as a road traffic accident due to loss of control while driving.
  • Lack of trust in others in a short-tempered person.
  • Such a short-tempered person can easily displace his anger onto others, which may result in physical and verbal harm to others, such as family members, especially children and spouse, which further results in domestic violence.

What are the tips to control your anger?

Tips that will help in controlling anger and argumentation are:

  • Take a deep breath and remove yourself from the place of discussion.
  • Try to indulge yourself in any mind diversion activity, such as a simple walk or jogging.
  • Have a glass of cold water. Avoid an energy drink, which may further aggravate your anger.
  • If you remain sitting in the group discussion, try to change the topic of debate.
  • Try not to take the words of others so seriously. Instead, have a joke or make fun of it.

Feeling hopelessness: Thoughts and behaviors associated with stress:

 A person suffering from stress and anxiety usually feels hopeless. Nothing seems to be going in a positive tract in his life. If the person has to start a new journey in his/ her life, he /she will start that with a doubt. Not fully confident in his ambition. Moreover, being hopeless, a person will always think of failure and end up with negative results.

      Feeling lonely: Thoughts and behaviors associated with stress:

 People under stress usually do not like to become socially active. Moreover, avoid people in his/ her circle. Keeps a very limited friend circle. And avoid sharing their thoughts with others.

Social anxiety: Thoughts and behaviors associated with stress:

People usually avoid social gatherings and large friend circles. Moreover, avoid the markets and other places where there are people to interact with.

How to overcome social anxiety? Thoughts and behaviors associated with stress:

It is necessary to notice if you or your loved one is suffering from social anxiety; however, it is crucial to treat social anxiety, otherwise it may lead the person to go into severe isolation. That further led to other social and health issues.

What is the impact of social isolation?

 People with social isolation experience the following symptoms

Hypersomnia or excessive sleep:

A person who avoids interacting with other people tries to isolate himself and does not come out of his room. He will try to sleep the whole day or night, which severely impacts his mental and physical health. The physical symptoms will be indigestion, constipation, dehydration, dry skin, and loose muscle tone. On a broader level, a person becomes more occupied with their negative thoughts. This may further deteriorate his health and lead to severe depression.

Poor communication skills:Thoughts and behaviors associated with stress:

A person with social anxiety cannot communicate properly with others. This will further affect his personal as well as professional life if he is a professional worker. There are many chances of losing a job due to poor performance.

The following are some tips to treat social anxiety.

  • Self-care: doing an activity such as making your favorite food or drink, doing some leisure activity such as listening to your favorite music, or working in your garden may help ease your anxiety level and divert your mind from the negative thoughts.
  • Discuss your emotions with your closest friend. This will decrease the mental pressure by expressing ideas and thoughts.
  • Consult with a healthcare provider.
  • Do some exercise, such as pushups or punches, which will relieve your anxiety by transferring your force of anger related to anxiety to the harmful object.

Finding life hard:

 Making his life more difficult in the following ways.

  • Anxiety makes a person anxious about everything.
  • unable to solve daily life problems
  • incapable of managing finances
  • unable to give proper time for family
  • Unable to celebrate small joys in life
  • Makes simple things more complicated.
  • Breaks relationships easily

Worrying about the future:

 People who suffer from anxiety usually do not focus on their present but become more anxious about their future. This may lead to failure in life, and they are unable to focus and concentrate on one thing to do for the future.

Anger displacement:

Anxiety sufferers usually become aggressive and have very short tempers, and try to transfer their anger to a less powerful person or thing in their surroundings, such as women, mostly spouses or children, who become the most wanted victim of it.

Low confidence:

 A person with an anxiety disorder becomes unable to express themselves in front of others. This is due to a lack of confidence. On the other hand, severe anxiety is interpreted to connect ideas and express feelings in an organized manner.

Body pains:

Every person who suffers from anxiety has some physical symptoms, along with disturbed emotional health. In physical symptoms, body aches are the main symptoms that people suffer from anxiety and depression. The body pain is usually general muscle aches. And in medical terminology, it is called myalgia.

What is fibromyalgia?

Fibromyalgia is an unexplained body pain related to stress and depression. If somebody is feeling pains or headaches without any medical reason, the person should be assessed for any symptoms of depression and anxiety. Furthermore, one must consult a psychiatrist for better outcomes and a faster recovery.

Easily get distracted:

People with anxiety and stress usually get distracted by small things. This leads to poor job performance and small dealings in personal life.
